Sejak pertama kali disetujui penggunaannya oleh Departemen Kesehatan Jepang tahun 1966, air alkali yang diproduksi mesin elektrolisis ini terus diteliti secara luas di berbagai bidang kedokteran, salah satunya untuk anak-anak berkebutuhan khusus.

Di tulisan ini saya share pengalaman seorang praktisi kesehatan yang telah lebih dari 30 tahun menangani berbagai kelainan otak pada anak-anak berkebutuhan khusus, Dr. Corinne Allen.

Dr. Corinne Allen adalah seorang doktor (Ph.D) dan peneliti di bidang nutrisi, yang mengelola klinik The Advanced Learning & Development Institute di Idaho, Amerika Serikat. Sejak salah satu anak kandungnya lahir dengan penyakit otak yang berat, Dr. Allen menjadikan salah satu misi hidupnya adalah menghadirkan perbedaan pada anak-anak yang mengalami keterbatasan karena penyakit susunan saraf pusat.

Ia mengembangkan konsep terapi dan stimulasi otak terpadu untuk anak-anak yang menderita berbagai kelainan otak, mulai dari Autisme, Attention Deficit Disorders (ADD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Sindroma Asperger’s, Cerebral Palsy, Disleksia, berbagai gangguan belajar, gangguan perilaku, gangguan perkembangan, trauma otak/kepala, dan trauma emosional.

Dr. Allen mengatakan, “Air merupakan bahan utama untuk aktivitas dan fungsi enzim. Kelainan otak dan dehidrasi berjalan bersama-sama. Banyak anak-anak dengan autisme dan kelainan otak lainnya minum air sedikit, dalam jumlah yang tidak mencukupi kebutuhan hariannya.

Tapi tidaklah mungkin menghidrasi secara optimal dengan air biasa. Air yang terstruktur (terionisasi) membantu, meningkatkan, dan membuat hidrasi seluruh sel menjadi lebih efisien.

Air Alkali mampu memberikan anak-anak dengan autisme antioksidan dalam jumlah yang besar dan memperbaiki status hidrasinya. Di program terapi otak, kami mengamati bahwa target-target terapi dapat terlampaui secara bermakna hanya dengan menambahkan air alkali pada regimen pengobatan kami.
Penggunaan air alkali meningkatkan hasil-hasil yang positif hingga 35%. Air alkali memperbaiki semua spektrum kelainan pada anak-anak dengan autisme.

Ketika Anda menderita Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), migrain, vertigo, dan berbagai kelainan saraf lainnya, otak Anda mengalami pembengkakan dan sawar darah otak juga mengalami gangguan. PENCEGAHAN LEBIH BAIK DARI PENGOBATAN

Sebuah penelitian di jurnal kedokteran tahun 2011 menunjukkan adanya efek proteksi molekul hidrogen yang melimpah dalam air alkali terionisasi dalam pencegahan terjadinya hidrosefalus, cerebral palsy, dan retardasi mental.

Perdarahan matriks germinal (Germinal matrix hemorrhage, GMH) adalah penyakit saraf pada bayi prematur dengan berat badan yang sangat rendah yang menyebabkan hidrosefalus, cerebral palsy, dan retardasi mental. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa inhalasi gas hidrogen secara bermakna menekan retardasi mental dan cerebral palsy pada tikus percobaan di stadium perkembangan dininya. Pemberian gas hidrogen segera setelah terjadinya GMH menormalisasi atrofi otak, pembesaran limpa, dan hipertrofi jantung 1 bulan setelah terjadinya kerusakan. Inhalasi gas hidrogen merupaka strategi efektif untuk membantu melindungi otak bayi dari konsekuensi pasca perdarahan pada atrofi otak, retardasi mental, dan cerebral palsy. Penelitian lebih lanjut diperlukan untuk mengetahui dasar mekanisme dari efek proteksi ini.
